I briefly mentioned this in another post and figured the I would, well, post it. This is an Anime Music Video put together by me when I was in a really weird mood and felt like making something. I whipped it together in one 5 hour sitting with Windows Movie Maker (lmao - MISTAKE). While there are a lot of things I didnt do that I wanted and things that I changed with bad results and numerous other problems I had with it, I really like how it turned out. I keep telling myself Im going to redo correctly with decent software but I dont seem to have the time nowadays.

Heres the link:
http://files.filefront.com/Juuni_Kokki___Way_of_the_Swordwmv/;4081520;;/fileinfo.html

The footage is from an anime series called Juuni Kokki (AKA "The Twelve Kingdoms") and the music is Power Symphony's "The Way fo the Sword". Both of which I completely adore.

Click the link, then click download, then click download next to one of the servers.

You should see "Your download is ready. Please click this link to start the download." Just click the words "click this link" or right click and go to save as...

that should do it

hahaha no. This was just the one and only video I cut together on an odd day. It has a ton of flaws, you should see what some other people have made out there, its amazing. Thank you very much, though! I'm glad you enjoyed it =)

nice. microsoft movie maker. ya, i made the same mistake. kept freezing on me. had to redo a bunch of stuff the first time it froze. then i had to keep saving each time. i did find that it mainly froze when going from timeline to storyboard. so then i just kept to the timeline and i was fine.

You did very well in the transitions and everything. I would say you did a good job on it. I have no idea what I was watching, but you were able to keep me going, however. Is that a Japanese animation?

Yes it's an Anime (Japanese Animation) called "Juuni Kokki" translated as "The Twelve Kingdoms"
I had to sift through all 45 episodes to find relevant/usable clips. 5 hours was actually quite a rush job in that aspect. I used a couple of the cheesy Movie Maker effects like the old film effect at the beginning, and amber effect later, and a spectrum one after that. I had a lot of it matched up to the music much better, but I went back and changed something at the beginning, which threw everything else off. The fight scene with the behemoth at the beginning should be cut completely imo, I should have found something else to put there. I think My favorite part is right before the fight with the birds where the guitar matches up with the girl looking back at her friend (the mouse - his name is Rakashun) and I can just feel the anger and such build up (this is mostly because of my having watched the series and it is quite a large scene that was very emotional - much like the fight with her best friend the black haired girl).

Whoops, as I said before, I ramble a lot when I get talking about anime so I'll shut up now =P.

That's ok to ramble. I do that myself with some things. You obviously have an interest in the subject, so it isn't a problem.

The song seems to go with it well. I've never heard it before, but it was fine.
