Ok, Pyro, I changed my idea.

This isn't exactly mythical or fantasy, but how about Mortimer Snurd?

He looks awesome! Can't wait to see him!

Yes, I did see the ring and that's way cool. How was his first night? Do you have to force feed him?

Cool Critter! I'm not a snake person myself, but they do have a certain charm about them. So here are a few names for you to peruse.

Khisanth- First Dragon (Black) encountered in the DragonLance series of books.

Cyan Bloodban- Green dragon from the same series

Thulsa Doom- leader of the snake cult in Conan the Barbarian (james earl jones) could turn himself into a gigantic python.

Khisanths sounds good. I read that book "The Black Wing", based on Khisanth's life before she fought the Companions. Good story about what's its like to be a dragon.

If you have any problems or have any questions about raising your little guy let me know, I raised my 7 foot colombian from a baby. Remember, temperature is very important, most captive snakes that die prematurely do so from resperatory infections stemming from improper enclosure temperature.

Is the snake a male or female. Most ball pythons are female.
This one looks young, but male ball pythons are typically smaller than the females..

I also like Serpentee (sur-pin-tee), to me it sounds childish and fun..

I also like Judas.. I'm not necessarily religious, but Judas was a "snake" so to speak back in the biblical times..

don't know, you wanted ideas, those are mine..

if you run out of ideas, i guess you could call him Thesauras!

I love snakes! Ball pythons are always a good choice with there mild temperament. They are sooo friendly.

Have you sexed em yet? Go about 2 to 3 inches from the tail and look/feel for anal spurs. Those are the 'evolutionary remnents' of hind legs. The guys have larger ones then females. Females tend to have larger heads then the males, though.

As for names, I sometimes use the scientific name or something like that. Let me look up what the scientific name is for ball pythons. Python regius. So, how about Regius or Rejee? I like the idea that Duenen gave with Serpentee. I kinda like Rejee, but that would only work for a boy. Trying to think of one for a girl. Rejeena? I don't know, I'm horrible with names.

This would be interesting, but I wouldn't want to see the snake get hurt, though. I'll just keep watching animal planet and see the mongoose vs. Cobra

I'm prolly not one to have a snake in the future, but they're quite cool... however I do have some names for you.
The first one is Beetlejuice just for your Avatar, the second would be Fluffy just because it's ironic, and lastly a friend suggested to call it Monty the Python ... those are just a few if you're looking for humorous
