From the FAQ:
"Energy Leech Whenever you damage another player, you gain 1% of the damage as adrenaline. Each level increases this by 1%. (Max Level: 5) You cannot have this skill and Vampirism at the same time."

What good is this skill in invasion exactly, besides being a pre-req for loaded artifacts (and preventing vampirism!)?

you get adrenaline whenever you do damage. like all skills, its small at first but grows once you get more.

i.e. energy leech at level 1 will get you 1 or 2 adrenaline when you hit a skaarj at point blank range, killing and also then getting the adrenaline for killing it.

it just adds up.

I think he is saying that he thinks it is just not as helpful in a tight spot as vampirism is. Know what I'm saying?

Energy leech can be even more helpful in a tight spot than vampirism (in some situations). It can also be more fun. Helps keep that Double Magic Mod going to give you a Vorpal +20 shock .

I'm wondering what it will take for my country to rise,

oohhh.. the reason i thought it was weird was because the description said when you damage a player, which obviously isn't possible on invasion. Sorry, stupid question.

I don't think it's a stupid question at all. There's alot of little things that say 'player' that I think is player only and not monsters (some of the majiks on weapons for example).

Just to clear some things up, I prefer vampirism yes, but I do not think energy leech is useless in a tight spot.
