The details of my life are quite inconsequential. Real name is Adam, currently working on 1st wife still. 1 son who will possibly live through the night if he will stay in bed, age 7 in 6 days. By day I'm the Sr Systems Engineer for a Hospital Chain in Oklahoma. I've been doing computer work for about 14 years now. I'm 34 at the moment. My hobbies are working out, playing with the rest of you people and attempting to warp my sons little mind. ok who's next.  

heh - great costume! Anyway, I work at the same place as XChosen so I also hail from Oklahoma City. I'm way too old to be playing these games - at least that's what most people say (and my wife would probably agree) 2 awesome kids (actually teens by now) and we play many online games together. I've been in the computer field longer than most of you have been alive so we won't go into that - both XChosen and I specialize in an obscure and arcane OS (which happens to be the best OS around but nobody has heard of it kind of thing) but it still pays the bills and it is popular in Healthcare and Financial markets.

Hi All, biceps1 here. I am a bodybuilder from Montana, who is also a black belt in shotokan karate. I have been playing unreal since the game first came out way back when. Hey Spacey, I feel sorry for you doing chemistry. I know how what you mean when you have one of those classes where most people fail. My first semester O-Chem had about 80 people in it. About ten to fifteen dropped out after the first test. Only about 30 people passed the class. I almost had a B in the class and I was in the top 5% of the class. So, that shows what kind of a class that was. The professor was really hard. She used to teach at some of the Ivy League schools. The second semester O-Chem was about the same. The only thing that kept me with a high C is I came close to getting a perfect score on the final. No offense Spacey, but I hate chemistry, so I don't know how you majored in that.

Chemistry was not the problem, having been a 4yr lab assistant in HS, and being so far up the curve that the Chem teacher would figure my grade, then remove me and figure each other person's grade. His method was to set the average to some value, and then add so much per standard deviation. I never was less than 5 standard dev over average. The last quarter, I took one test and the final, and my aggregate was such that on a 4.6 scale, I was over 9 because of the curve. Then later I took the Honors 200 sequence at Ohio State, and had one of the highest grades for the group (4.0). But when OSU lost the grades which had been sent on from the College of Arts and Sciences to the registrars office for recording, and everyone told me that the only person who could correct it was the prof (who was teaching over the summer at Cambridge), I knew I was done over royally. Worse, they lost my schedule request for Fall quarter...so I transferred out. Oh, and for chemistry in HS, Ohio had scholastic tests they gave each year in all sorts of subjects, like english, chem, etc. The year I took Chem, I took the test as well. Finished the test in 20 minutes (it was a 3 hr test), and made 3 very stupid mistakes. 4 people in the state missed 2 questions and 2 of us missed 3. O-chem was OK, Q&QA was fun, but my favorite area was dealing with metals chemsitry. Physics was even more fun, and Astrophysics was more fun over that. It is just a real PITA when they have a course where you are supposed to be taking integration concurrently and they throw problems at you which mandate partial differentials. Worse, take a 4 qtr hr class and throw in 14 problems with the expectation of an hour/problem for 70% of your grade. No questions on the problems or related problems, since you are there to learn how to solve them. Reality was 4+ hrs per as a class, and we only solved 30% on average...no curve, etc. That is why most places would look at a BS Physics from OSU during that period as the equivilent of a masters or PHD from some other schools.

It was a dark night, late in June, and I had gone out to a club and met up with a friend of mine named Jim. This particular dance club was lit with the fanfare of bright flashing lights bouncing about like nighttime fireflies. Jim and I sat down at a raised table overlooking the dance floor, and my attention was captured by a beautiful dancer. She glided across the dance floor in graceful sweeps and colorful swirls in perfect time to the music. From her flowing brown hair, to her flowing steps, I was mesmerized. Jim interrupted my reverie mentioning that I should get up and go talk to her. Instead I decided to think on it and go dance for a bit.

I was in mid-twirl, when I happened to look down and catch the glint of a driver's license on the floor. My pants didn't have any pockets, so I had shoved my license into my sock earlier that evening. Even in the dim light, I could tell that the person in the picture had long, flowing brown hair, so I assumed that it was my license. I picked up the forgotten ID and almost put it in my sock without thinking. Fortunately, something stopped me and I glanced briefly at the license to confirm that it was mine. I quickly realized that the handsome young man in the picture was not me, but, in fact, the one that my friends and I affectionately referred to as "Glow-boy" because he always danced with colorful glowsticks and wore neon clothing so bright that it was almost blinding. I handed Glow-boy's license to the bartender, and returned to my dance. Later, I saw Glow-boy enter the dance floor again, so I strode over to him and attempted to yell over the music, "I found your license, and I gave it to the bartender." He thanked me and introduced himself. "I'm Clint." "Clint?" I yelled back. "No, CLINT," he repeated. I frowned, confused. "Flint?" I struggled to make my voice carry over the music with more force. "CLINT!" "Oh, okay" That was pretty much the extent of our conversation, although we both cast numerous glances at each other as we each whispered to our respective friends.

Well I thought as most of you guys have been hearing my funny accent on the server over the last couple of months it was bout time I did the proper English gentleman thing and introduced myself! I'm 26 years old, real name Ben Lawson, and...yes you guessed it...live in the UK. A place called Dover which is in the very most southeastern corner. Dover is a small town of around 36k people. Only 40km from France across the English Channel and one of the busiest ports in the world. The plus side to this is easy access to the continent, watersports on my doorstep, and we're only 95km from London. The flip side to this we're way too near the French! I work as an Operations Manager at a coach company which I really enjoy - refreshing eh! Someone who enjoys their job. In my spare time I'm either in the water or cleaning my car. Living on the coast I'm lucky enough to be able to spend a lot of time in the water doing various sports like waterskiing, wakeboarding and kitesuring. I have a website with a few pics on (not as impressive as biceps I've gotta say!) of me and my friends having a laugh. Hi All, Well decided to officially say hello and reveal just some minor details about myself. The name is Colin and I go by the nick of "Ducatisto"(Weapons) or "Ducatisto.MD"(Medic). It is a play on Ducatisti a name given to fans of Ducati motorbikes, of which I have one. I hail from Hampshire in the UK and to say I am mildly matured is a little understated /:) (born in the fifties, just! so my age is?.......). I am married with a 15yr old daughter and have an extremely boring job, so boring I won't say! I love all things computers and am currently putting myself through as many qualifications as possible at the moment so I can pursue a job of more interest. I have been into online gaming since '95 (great fun on a 14.4 modem!) and moved over to UT2k4 when it first appeared. I am an admin at Gameservers and have total control over their Invasion servers and hopefully will be able to mirror Dru's work onto one of theirs enabling those in Europe and beyond to be able to sample his superb RPG. Welcome Duca! OK...a couple of questions... 1) What model and color do you have? I like motorcycles, but there is no way I would drive one on the roads, so I do not have one. But they were fun and quite necessary when I was helping a friend and his family on their farm, which was several thousand acres in hilly, southeastern Ohio. My family has ties into several areas the UK, including an earldom and a very, very old place in Suffolk near Ipswich (which was recorded in the Domesday Book), and I belong to a medieval living history group, and between that and my interest in astronomy, I am wondering how far you are from Amesbury. As for having a 15yo daughter...I have two grown step daughters and a 11yo of my own, so I know that the rest of your life outside of work is not likely boring.
