Navy-like mod?

Are there any up to date mods for UT2004 (or ones that work with a recent version) that are like a navy simulator type of deal? where many people can operate certain aspects of a ship, and possibly fly planes, drive vehicles ect?

I didnt have any luck finding any... but it sounds like somthing that would be perfect for UT2004 since it has a versatile engine.

UCCDepend.exe? errors after opening it (thought it unpacked mods)

Well... guess I made an irreversable mistake...

I was trying to find the program that unpacks ut2004 mods since it didnt automaticly set it.

So... I figured it was in the System folder?

Anyways, i eventually got to the UCCDepend.exe.

What does it do? Apearently wipe out half the files in the folder with no way of returning them. (most of them started with X ie XAdmin)

Now I just get runtime errors when i try to play UT...

Not even a system restore fixed it

Well it was nice knowing you guys :/

WHOS IDEA WAS IT TO PUT AN EXE THAT RUINS THE FOLDER WITHOUT ASKING FIRST??!

Re:HelixESV

The helix is not that tough to kill, and its a big easy to hit target.

Besides, if you think the helix would be a problem, what about the AWs aim hack lightning rod and what other cheese im sure they can wtfpwn you with.

in any sort of PvP engineers seem to be at a disadvantage, wich is why I hate DMs, the classes are meant to work together as a team not go against the others because that doesn't end up too well... I could be wrong though

Re:HelixESV

Well there is that "Not enough room to spawn the vehicle" deal.

And on some maps the vehicle just isnt practical to use.

Getting trapped by a 6 wheeled solid wall is a problem with the engi not the vehicles.

Its an engies responsibity to make sure he doesnt cause harm to the team by poor placement of objects.

TBH blocks can be just as bad if you turn a corner and find yourself face to face with one.

The helix is way more helpful to the team than the otehr vehicles as many people can operate it and the build in pickups it provides

Re:HelixESV

So what are the chances of them putting this in the DC invasion?

I mean.. its not overpowered really. And its at least cooler than the standard vehicles in this game that im bored as hell of.

It would especially act as a driving force to keep going if i knew that was the end result rather than a pathetic paladin tank... booorrriinnggg... zzzz

So how about it devs? :D

Re:Is WoW (World of Warcraft) really worth it?

Ya, I would try and not make the mistake I made and not buy WoW.

Its kinda cool i guess, but all there really is to do is grind.

If you want to play for free, go to a private server, although they are very buggy and some abiltys don't work correctly, its free, and alot of them are instant lvl 70 servers so you can get down to the PVP action and ditch the long term grinding nonsense.

theres so many private servers out there that arnt bothered im not even sure if its against blizzards contract to play on them, its a matter of changing a single line of text in your WoW directory.

Re:HelixESV

you can find it at:

http://ut2004.levels4you.com/downloads.l4y?cat=182

to summon it into an offline game to try it out type:
summon HelixESV2.HelixESVnew
(caps might not even matter)

One of the downsides is even though it looks like it can transport a scorpion, it doesnt do so well with taht sort of thing as the the vehicle can still fall through the moving door. as well as making it tip over and make everyoen fall out.

HelixESV

I think it would be really neat if engineers could deploy Helix craft. (Of course it would need to be a rather high level :P)

The helix imo isn't overpowered, its armed with 1 duel minigun and 2 minigun turrets, allowing the engineer to setup a mobile base for other players.

Additionally it has onboard item spawns: Link gun, Link ammo, AVRiL Ammo, regshield pickup, and a health pickup allowing it to be a mobile resupply.

It flys much like the raptor and has deployable landing gear and a rear bay door.

Im not sure what you guys think of having a flying vehicle on this server, if it would make it imbalanced or not, but I always found the helix to be fun to play around in on invasion servers that had it.

-please?- :D
