FYI:

Took the SWITCH test first Wednesday of the class. Failed it by 20 points ... out of 1000.

Took the ROUTE test first Friday (IIRC) of the class. Failed it by 12 points.

Took the TSHOOT test last day (second Friday) of the class. Passed it by 90 points. This was sufficient to renew my CCNA for three years, so no worries there.

Retook SWITCH Feb 1, passed it by like 78 points.

Retake ROUTE Friday. Pretty sure I'm ready.

Re:The Return (sort of)...

The rare times I play will probably be between 6:30pm-7:30pm ET (currently 11:30pm-12:30am UTC, if I've done my math right). Sometimes earlier on Saturday and Sunday.

It's the rare time I have if I've managed to get some study time at work (since the CCNP is a work related persuit) and I've gotten all my honey-dos done, and there's nothing on the DVR worth watching.

Managed to get BF leveled up a bit (dug up the old excel spreadsheet with the "plan" on it) and am working on BD (though as a medic he gets more xp if players who are smart enough to hang around a bit to be healed are on, as opposed to bots that tend to run away). By the way, Demon - I'm not over level 200 with *any* character so I can't try out subclasses yet.

On the CCNP front, my CCNA expires 4/30/13; I have a bootcamp course (where we cover all the material and do practicums/labs morning to night every day) scheduled for 1/7/13 - 1/18/13, and will probably work on the tests (all three of them) shortly thereafter.

I too will only be on for short stints maybe two or three times per week, depending on life. I am in the middle of my studies for the  CCNP which I need to pass by 4/30/13. I have a class (hopefully, if I can get work to pay for it) for a couple of weeks in January. It's three tests. But every once in a while I should be able to make it on for a round or two here and there. So out of practice though ... having trouble remembering my keybinds, even for my WM.

SCUBA photos

Hi gang - I know it's been a while; just lost my taste for UT ... but, I got a PM and since I was here I though I'd pimp my website ...

I did my 399'th dive the other day: http://scuba.ericdives.com/?d=399. Got some decent pics; forgot it was 399 because if I had remembered I would have arranged for a quick second dive to make 400!

My MySpace has been heavily depreciated; I moved my blog to a new section of my website. I'm also on Twitter now.

For everything else, there's Facebook. You should be able to find me at myhandle@gmail.com (no, not "myhandle" - do the appropriate replacement ;) ).

Finally, if you want to take shots at me, I'm spending what time I can spare (not much these days) on the TNT BF2 servers.

Is it all of them? Or is it perhaps ones that they might have run across that were tossed from monsters?

It's highly possible that if an LA runs over monster-spawned artifact that he will spew that one.

And if it wasn't an actual LA that died, that might also be the case.

Only a true LA who hasn't had contact with an other "copies" of his artifacts won't spew them unless he does it manually.

Been a while since I fixed it ... there may be something to do with *how* the LA died, too.

While I was wrong about the Triple/Rod issue, I know for a fact that Junkies do not pinata any more - *I* fixed that.

The only time a WM will get artifacts is from monsters ... so if you want to limit that, you just have to set it up so that monsters don't spit out artifacts any more.

Re:globe can kill you

It probably has to do with how they operate. In the code, globe probably stops you from taking all "damage", whereas the healing weapons calculate the damage you "take" based on your relationship to the shooter. If you're on the same team, you take "negative damage". Not on the same team? "Positive damage".

Sorry. Just the way things were coded up.
