A Q6600 is still valid. I just updated one I built a few years ago to Windows 7 Pro. I swapped the RAID1 system out with a single SSD since the customer had purchased an external backup, but everything's working well and I haven't heard from her since. (Which is good, when she has problems I hear about them until my phone bill can't tolerate it anymore!)

I've been gone for quite a while. I recently decided to create a new UT2004 server for my friends, and remembered the fun I had on the DC server, so I'm back to play around and maybe refresh my project, the Jack of All Trades class. I'd also like to ask an admin to message me - I'd severely like to update my username to be inline with my "universal" username - thus allowing me to track my posts easier. I can make a small donation to the site if it's an incentive. I hope to see you all on the field :) - Mark

I'm back... saw the post about my jack-of-all idea... my server is back up, the IP is 68.226.19.187 jack of all is there... heavily modded, about 10 minutes of downloads (including first map) + every map after that... please visit my forums to report bugs and ideas, feedback, etc: www.1radpc.com/ut thanks guys

eh from what i've heard the engineer class was also one of the most overpowered classes, so i can understand if it's taking a while...

hey nothin wrong with it... it's a good strategy to create some diversity amongst servers, and to give people a reason to continue to return to his server... of course, it's a quick way to disappoint a bunch of other server admins, but hey :) I'm not releasing my jack-of-all-trades class yet, so we're 1 and 1 B-)

here... find your "My Computer" icon... right-click it... go to "Properties" you'll be in the "System Properties" window... go to the "Advanced" tab... under the heading "Startup and Recovery", click the "Settings" button you'll be on the "Startp and Recovery" window... in the middle, under the "System Failure" heading, UNCHECK "Automatically Restart"... now click "ok" to confirm the settings on the Startup and Recovery page now click "ok" to confirm the system properties changes... now when you get the blue screen, it'll stay...

next time you get the blue screen, post the Hex code it's complaining about (usually looks like 0x0000004A) or something similar... or if it has a file name (about half way down, on a line all it's own... like: atigpl.dll or something similar... post it and i'll help you out... if it's occuring more frequently, it sounds more like a hardware problem than a software problem, but that's what i'm gonna help you figure out :)

ok, I got invisibility removed; booster and berzerk now work as they should, and speed still works! all variations of BotCombos.ini, BotsCombos.ini, [MutBotsCombos ... etc etc... none of it worked... then i realized you had the classes in the zip file, so i just made the appropriate change there (removed invisbility) and recompiled and it works like a charm! :D Quick question though, if I want my resurrection combo in there, do I have to move the resurrection uc file in there before I compile? because it seems like it's creating a new combo class all it's own... and even though it's in there, and set to take over the invisibility combo, it's still the standard combo for it (back back forward forward)... I'm at work so I can't test it, but i wanted to know if I was approaching this the right way... by the way, hell of a structure. nicely coded, easy to follow... job well done!

I hope it's soon though, I'd like that on my server, and i'd love to modify my jack-of-all-trades class to incorporate some of those new features
