i was thinking perhapse a vorpal type weapon, no modifier, but u need 100 adrenelin and perhapse it uses a percentage of your health as well, but you can inst-gib with your use key like an artifact. Maybe it can be set so you can only use it once per wave or something as well, to help balance it out a little. Maybe not just a weapon, an artifact of vorpal?

Druid, is there any way to make the pets either be invisable on the radar, or turn their dots blue? It's a pain sometimes when hunting for that one rabbit and you track the yellow and it turns out to be a pet bug.

Cool. Perhapse make it so it will only work if you get down to like 25 health, or like u said, when there are only a couple of people left on the map and the monster numbers are overwhelming it then spawns with the next kill by the player with the lowest score, or you use it, you die,u get the points but the player with the current lowest score for that map (usually already out) gets respawned to take your place and help win the map if you don't get them all. just ideas.

hi, i am posting this for those of you who have asked the origins of my name (mostly shan!! hahahaha)
back in my younger days i was quite the mean dungeon master (for those too young, dont ask, for those old enough, dont tell) and i spent hours at it. one thing created was a race of critters called kleze, a group of humanoids similar to MEN but genetically insane and generally vicious.
their leader/shaman was called "the emetakleze" (e- ethreal , meta- metaphysical, kleze-their race) he was learned in many things "magical". (generally the race as a whole were not the sharpest tools in the shed, but once a generation an intellectual was born with magical abilities) He also was a necromancer.
to make a long story longer... i had happened to come across a scetch of the emetakleze i had made then (i was actually planning to be an artist, ahh the dreams of youth), he looked like the stillborn love/hate child of the Witch King of Agmar and a Skullbearer, which was then resurrected by Fistandantilus and kept in the Lair of The Live Ones under Raistlin's Tower. (that is why i use brutalis as my char. in game)((yes i am a fantasy book reader aka nut)
The name apeeled to me again after so many years, i had actually forgoten it, so i took it as my own in any of the games i've played.
So there you go, the origin of emetakleze. (never really told anyone because, yes, i was a D&D DM in the early to mid 80's, which equates to geek nowadays i guess , according to "i love the 80's". lol!!!
Also, just to say, the text to speech in game pronounces it correctly, but most of you know you can just call me "em", its easier on both the typeing fingers and the vocal cords of some (emetakleze dosen't quite roll off the tongue like motaba does...)

wahoo!! I thought i was the only one that used the arrow keys. Was told i was a freak for playing like that (it crushed me emotionaly, so i've been a closet arrow key user for 8 years now). just out of curiousity, are either of you left handed? the only other person i ever saw configured like that was, as am i.

Again, thanks for all your suggestions. Cable guy was here, turns out cable modem was going bad a little at a time. (older one, couldn't handle the upgrade form 3 to 5mBs, just got confused and wouldn't do anything) I'll be back on tonight, watchout nali!!!!!

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. It looks like its an ip issue. I started noticing pages loading slow, downloads getting dropped, etc.. So i investigated further, (running cable internet) network is hopping around like a jumping bean so tech is comming over to look at it on tuesday. Again, thanks for your help.

Right on Dru. In my opinion, like you said, this is your server in the end. If someone doesn't like the rules, leave. I'm sure that if imperfectdarkness didn't like the rpg, or his ping, etc.. that he had when playing he wouldn't cry about it, he'd find somewhere else to go. I really believe that (darkness's) complaint is petty and I wouldn't lose a minute of sleep if he left. If I may quote one of my favorite movies "don't go away mad, just go away."

Do i have to uninstall 119 then, or is it automatic? I had seen some talking about that earlier in the week. Also, do I just delete the FHI folder/files since we don't use them anymore?

i was wondering the same thing myself, so im going to uninstall it (beat it anyway, was sort of a let down the game was so short, but grafix were good.) I'll let you know if it works.

i'll try that reboot, and i think ill remove the hub i have and see if there's somthing wrong with that as well. there isn't anything running when i play, infact i check task mgr to make sure something isn't running in the back round. the only two things i have done that i can think of since this started was 1. install hl2 2. inserted a line in my user.config file "numpad6=tossartifact". installing hl2 shouldn't have done anything, and the toss artifact button seems to be fine. Hmmm... i'll keep trying to figure it out. thanks for the quick post and idea...
