Sorry about that, I will. I think I've mostly cleared out my head for the meantime. Though, I must admit, I've only really mentioned two ideas so far.
Idea 1 - Clean up Ability Selection Menu
Idea 2 - Look at before mentioned mod for ideas on how sents could function
If someone wants to make threads discussing these topics, I'd welcome it. I've said all that I can on the subject.

<(o.0)> Come to think of it, I haven't seen any servers use this version of the mod. They always use either WoE's version or the older version of this one. I don't think many people know that Vaptor kept updating his mod in the background. In fact, I only tested the newest version a couple weeks ago myself. <(^.^)>

Why not just overlay a new ability selection menu on top of the old one? That way you don't have to change the original script, and you can organize the menu however you want! You just have the new menu interact with the old code as if it were the original menu! Any comments?
And to distinguish which abilities go with which classes, they can have on/off switches.
Example:
(NoClass, WepMstrClass, AdrenMstrClass, MonstMstrClass, EngineerClass)
AbilityAvailability=(0,0,0,0,1) ...Only an Engineer can see this ability
AbilityAvailability=(0,1,0,1,0) ...Only Wep & Monst can see this ability
AbilityAvailability=(1,0,0,0,0) ...People with no class can see this ability
AbilityAvailability=(1,1,1,1,1) ...Everyone can see this ability
etc...

I wasn't saying to actually use the mutator on the server. I just meant the concepts are quite nice.
a mobile sent platform
Those platforms actually can have floaty things following them which are used for attack, but it might be possible to modify something like that to follow you and defend rather than attack
The Vehicular modding isn't perfect, but it sure is cool >
There is a stationary defence sent that i think has different levels, the first being a Paladin Shield, the second being an encompassing sphere. The shields drain slightly when hit, and after a while need to recharge. But at least you know which projectiles have been "nullified" unlike the def sent we are currently trying out.
I just love the fact that you can actually modify the sents after placing them. You don't have to use any extreme modifications, but some simple ones like being able to add a quicker cool-down time or even visible targeting so you know what it's trying to shoot at.
The sents actually POINT at what they shoot... just a thought... lol
On a side note: I realized that engineers are almost pointless in assault because they have no translocater to build with.

It's part of the core UT2004RPG, which isn't based on classes. I admit it would be really really nice, but I also think it would take rewriting parts of the core that are quite ugly.
Well, if it is ugly, maybe I should have a look at it. Is there somewhere that I can get the source for that part of it? I'm not sure how much I can do though. I haven't worked much with the coding of mutators.

Another Idea:
Would it be possible to Display only related abilities in the RPG Window once you've chosen a class? I find that it is quite crowded in there, especially with the new Engineer class abilities increasing the list length. And even before you chose a class, you could list only the classes and the abilities anyone could use, even without a class.

Maybe there are some ideas that can be gained through the study of it.
It has Off and Def sents, as well as Walking spider things that you should be able to build sents on (I think)
