I used paypal for a few years when I sold stuff on eBay. While I don't sell much anymore, I still occassionally use it to buy stuff now. So, I've had experience from both sides of the scale, and I can personally say that I've never had any problems.

I have heard of some crucked, wierd way people can cancel their payment, or pay with a credit card or SOMETHING, I never figured it out, but there's a way to pay you with fake money or something. The thing about this though is it's incredibly rare, and incredibly illegal.

It may not even happen anymore, I haven't herad anything about it in a while, it may be old news. But yea, personally, I haven't had any trouble.

Personally, I love a game with teamwork. Sometimes, late at night, there may be a full game, but it's basically 20 players of which 18 are brand new. Everyone's out to kill things and are competing with each other. Yes there's competition in the game but a game with teamwork is sooooo much better.

I've seen link chains 4 or 5 people long just run around the map. If the front dies, the next take's their place. I make it a purpose to change directions if I see someone low on health to try and act as a meat shield or distraction. Usually I end up dieing instead, but hey, sometimes it works.

Healing guns, HEAL PEOPLE. I use to heal whenever there was a break between waves, but now that healing gives xp I'll play an entire game and get relatively few kills, spending the entire time healing (assuming I get a good healing gun at the beginning). I've seen a direct result from doing this...

1. Yes, my points in a game will drop from the 400-600ish I usually get to maybe 50, but that's okay.

2. I actually get more xp from healing others than fighting (assuming those hurt STAY STILL and I don't get like a healing shield or granade that are a pain to simply shot and fire).

3. The team members last longer before dying, if they die at all. I've seen people heal others and that person that would have died actually pull through a wave by themselves (ex: everyone else dies, last person).

4. Sure helps the LA people out. W/o regen or vamp it's sometimes hard to survive, but their efficiency increases exponentially when someone's standing behind them healing.

I've watched scores increase, games last longer, and with enough team work I've played a couple games were 4 people (no bots) beat wave 16.

A side note on team work: Healing is a two way deal. Not counting Nali and their instant kill, my largest complaint are people who are almost dead and low on health, or could use an hp "topping off" actually run away when I shot them! It says on the HUD that they've been healed and they still run away. I've seen some players actually make u-turn's to avoid my healing!

There's other ways too. When people die they can still spectate, on the harder waves why not act as recon for those still playing? This happens sometimes, but is a definite benefit to request it more often.

Lastly, "deemer/ion up" is a popular thing to say, but that's teamwork too. Sure helps me out. Just wish I knew were it was half the time, lol.

Or am I wrong and does teamwork suck?

I haven't seen druid on for a day or two either (although, my playin' hours have been odd a bit lately, there's more than a chance I just haven't been on when he was). I'm sure he'll get around to it. Besides, I'm actually wanting it to last longer, I've gone ut crazy lately and wanna wait as long as possible to see my position jump in the player stats.

As for reserved spots, I'm jobless at the moment (last job quit workin' me, but on paper I'm still an employee) but one job seems to show high high high chance of success, just gotta wait for formalities to go through. It's a tutoring position at a school so I've got tests and background checks to go through, all that boring stuff. Once it clears up (assuming everything comes out okay) I'm more than likely going to donate.

I spend more than half my time on here anyways, why not help a little?

Yes he is. Not only do I understand that he has his own life, but with the excellent job that is done on this server between he and others I'm sure this will be fixed. I'm just pretty sure that he goes straight through the link too and might not use the front page.

Okay, so maybe that's not quite correct. I go by noob^3 in game (pronounced newb cubed, not newb three or newb to the third), although in any other game I've ever played, my e-mail addresses, login's, screen names, ANYTHING online I go my la bomba or some similar variation thereof.

Live in Central Cali (Fresno) where I have about 5 different lives. I'm a full time college student, I'm also a pit member for a race team down south (Ventura), these guys, I off road some in my rig which you can look at here. I attend two different church's. In the morning I attend a large Church where I'm about to start working on the sound system, and in the evening I'm about to start attending a much smaller Church where I play the bass. I also play the acoustic guitar for fun. I used to work as a Janitor, than as a warehouse worker in a Janitorial supply store, now I'm hopin' to get a new job as an elementary school tutor. My friends ask me why I don't date, my response to them is, "WHEN?!?!?!?"

Anybody here play an instrument? We could make this a server project...

We could write something; either purely instrumental or with vocal, and someone could record the first part. Then we ship that to the next musician, who adds their instrument. And repeat however meany times necessary. Then add vocals (or not, depending) and have our own song!

Since yesterday-ish, the "current game" link on the front page, which displays the info on the current game (who's playing, level's, points, etc.), not the enter link, has been stuck on the same thing. 18 players on Avaris.

Also, the "player stats" on the main page has not been updated. I've gained almost 3k xp and it hasn't updated. I know it doesn't EVERY minute, but it's been stuack on the same for a day or two.

Conflict/bug with druids rgp 1.77 maybe?? (or whatever the new version is)

I would just like to say that, while confusing, these new modifications are very welcome.

As of late I've always been able to be close to, if not equal to the players at the top of the score list until the wave number's reached double digits. I'm now only level 36 and could compete with players whose level's were in the hundreds. The problem was that when the monster's got stronger the player's with stronger weapons had quite an advantage. We could both shot at a titan the same amount and they'd get 2X the xp, and the kill.

I know they're higher level's so they're going to have stat advantages, but I always got upset that I was beat due to player level and not skill (although I'm sure that was part of it too).

Also, props on the xp for healing, I've been lookin' for that.

I always knew that DC was a great server, but from reading these forums I can tell that you really care for the players, and you actually go out of your way to help the lower level players, unlike many, many others.

I used to use the "Enter the Game" link on the front page and it always worked fine. Lately though it lets me in, but only in spectator mode, and I can't join straight from there. I must disconnect then re-enter through the game's favorites menu.

Nothing big, not exactly heart stopping, but something that, for me, was working and not isn't.
