Well Ive seen people that are medics pet oriented and they dont heal even If you are dying, they only focus in killing mobs, So I think anyone can play the game as they want, at my point of view all the people has different types of gameplay that they enjoy to practice.
For example berserkers they make tons of exp and even they kill titans in 3 shots, they shine in titan waves and thats not team oriented they dont share exp just like the turret links.
The AM using DD with rod is almost the same or using vorpals.
I know its greed but I bet the rpg system was meant to be like that to compete for Exp. I know you can support a teammate sometimes but its a choice you make and sometimes u dont have a reward at the end but If you enjoy that I dont see any problem.
I think the score table was made for a reason, and that reason is to compete for the exp.
Thats my point of view.

I know its not team oriented the hellbender turret but how about the rod, the enhaced damage bonus skill, and super weapons, they arent team oriented too.

About sentinels damage nerfing.
This my score using my linkgun, hellbender and a light sent, the score is pretty good
the score is around 3500, it doesnt show in the pic.
But as you can see the sentinel score doesnt exceed the 100 kills, so if a sent specialist gets thier primary weapon nerfed ( sentinels ) how they will be competitive agaits berserkers or AM ??? their linkgun is nerfed, their sents nerfed, they cant heal themselves, Its kinda disappointing playing as a engineer in the next build.
I say no to nerfing sentinels, they are good the way they are.

Bad news???? I dont think so, they were created to do that

They can be a pain in the butt but they are good the way they are, if they cant eat you because you are hiding, they eat their comrades instead.
I luv running for my life when 3 big gnats are after me!

Well the general class misses at my point of view loaded monsters lv 6, monster points lv 6, intelligence lv 3, monster health lv 3 = 72 points
just my 2 cents

Well my thoughts about this is You have created new sublasses with new skills and abilities and you are trying to balancing them with nerfing, even nerfing the original classes that they were originally there before the subclasses existed, If u make stronger abilities u will need stronger monsters, the monsters we have today they are no match for the new classes, instead of nerfing the classes add stronger monsters with this It will balance the game by a lot, What I propose is to release the subclasses for all players starting lv 80+ and then when u get the data you could start boosting the monsters, If we have a boost why they dont?
I only see that the only way to fix this is to add new monster types with new abilities, for example
The poisoned pupae drains adrenaline a real nemesis for AM
Necro Krall a hit with his staff It will drain shield
Nali mercenary hired to search and destroy specially sents, vehicles and turrets
Nali sorcerer hired to seek and destroy his primary target summoned pets
Cleric Krall a monster who specializes in healing monsters.
Champion Brutes they are slow but hit insanely hard
Mercenary Tanks they have lots of hp and with their shield are the perfect tank to block attacks.
Engineer nalis they can spawn offense and defense sentinels to attack you
Maybe this will add more fun and kill the boredom

You see sentinels add more playstyle and strategies , I use light sent or normal sent to attract monsters and start killing them in their backs.
This is one of my strategies: Kill monsters around my light sent or normal sent, heal sentinel, start killing monsters around it again, heal sent again, Thats how I can achieve a nice score.
With the sentinel specialist is almost the same but its balanced couse the character`s handgun fire damage is reduced but they get an extra sent, Is like playing the engineer with a light sent, def sent and a hellbender that combo really does an insane damage and get good XP.
I dont see why to reduce sentinel power.

Well Sentinels as far as I know they are good the way they are, Engineer class with sentinels have been around quite long and no one has complained about it, I mean why reduce the damage of sentinels If they have been ok from the start, the sentinel specialist its name says it all, It specializes in sentinels and his handgun damage fire power of the character get reduced, so their job is to build a base put offense or defense sents around it to protect base, Its a Damage Dealer and supportive class. If you dont like the idea that they camp on their bases and the sents do the kills well, you can add to the sentinels a health timer, When the sent specialist spawn a sent will be with 100% full health but they will start dying slowly, each sent health will be drained as time passes this will encourage sent specialists to get out of the base and heal the sentinels, or to spawn a new one. The sent specialists dont have adrenaline supply skills to regain health or healing skills, so they have to be hiding in their bases using the sentinels as primary weapon and to protect themselves, for me thats a new gamestyle almost all of the classes are running seeking for monsters but this class is really different. Variety is the key.
About the pets I have a char lv 52 with 3 skaarjs and everytime I play with it my monsters do around 20 or 25 kills in all map, they die so fast starting wave 10 to 16, so I have to do my Exp killing with my healing weapon almost all the time, the problem with monsters is that they block base entrances, weapon fire, and some times they are annoying when they block you a passage. Maybe make them like we can pass through them and our fire as well, In other server they had a mutator that all teammates and pets could walk through themselves like If they were ghosts that really helped alot when shooting deemers and a player or a pet was blocking the way this will reduce selfkilling by shooting deemers.

Im agree with Dom60`s point.

Well Szlat Im not agree in some statements u make for example:
You are studying the balance of the classes with a few players lvl 200+ , I mean most them have their preferences and play style in choosing each class, how about IF there are like 5 engineers lv 200+ and only 2 of them from 5 get online anytime time, those that are online prefer to choose sentinel specialist because thats a personal choice of them, that doesnt mean that class is too popular, Like I have said before the real test starts when u let all the players get the subclasses available so u will see what class is the favorite one, Just think in 5 berserkers online doing titan wave, its not the same as 2 zerkers online.
The real balance starts when all people choose a subclass.
Now you will see real numbers there.
My idea is to release the subclasses to public and you will se the balance u have to make on them.

Well Im wondering some things regarding sentinels.
When I buy weapon speed and Damage Bonus They affect sentinels right?
But what about damage reduction, Retaliation, countershove, Armor vampirism, armor regen, does they affect sentinels too?
Couse all of them except for armor skills affect pets in monster master classes

I've had this happen to me as well. I'll be either the last one, or 1 of a couple left, and suddenly the map vote window pops up. Very annoying when I'm trying to finish off a titan wave (and rocks are flying around). Especially when I've got to hit anything about a hundred times to kill it.
I understand the feeling of having to wait and watch, being a low level once, long ago, with a character that would die in one shot past wave 6. Those of us who paid our dues and built up xp excruciatingly slow over the years have a right to finish out a map (or at least try to).
It has been mentioned, and I agree, that you can learn a lot from watching. It would be different if the last guy is sitting in a hidey hole - not even trying - waiting for timercide. If you catch me doing that, you are welcome to map vote me.
Im totally agree with you.

I was one of the people voting that time being mentioned and things are not being correctly mentioned. we voted on wave 6 because I thought it was a bad map. the very next map we voted off on wave 1.
Well yeah clone, You were the first one in changing maps, It was very rude from your part to start voting in wave 6 when u were dead and I was still alive killing titans Is the sweet money wave and you just start voting, The map was breakfast which is not a bad map, in your opinion is bad for you but that doesnt mean you have to change the map every time you want, thats kinda selfish. Nothing personal dude but its not quite right to do that.
After changing the map breakfast you started to vote again in wave 1 and then in the next map started to vote when the wave 6 was starting, again...... too many votes in a row....
As I stated before nothing personal
