You could always use the shin converter to convert from one to the other.

Grab the latest version of Firefox, 2.0. It has a built in spell checker.
That's a good idea, thanks.

That's cool. If you don't have a HS degree then a GED is the next best thing. I think it shows initiative. If there's a writing part to the test I would suggest reading over what you wrote before you hand it in.
[quote=DragonBlade]the [problem] with getting help from teachers and people [who] explain stuff like teachers do is that [I] wont get what [they're] saying.
the only [people that I] know who [are] getting [their] GED is my sister[']s friend and she says it [is] really [difficult] but [I don't] know if [I] can trust her word [because] she like[s] to pick on me [a lot]. [S]o [I] thought [I] would ask around here

I know this is the internet and spelling is relaxed here, but there's no time like the present to practice.
BTW, I use Firefox and a spelling plugin to keep track of my misspellings.

Thank you.
So the extra 64MB boost isn't worth the slowdown in speed?

I have a motherboard with three memory slots.
At the moment I have:
bank 0 - 64MB PC133
bank 1 - 128MB PC133
Bank 2 - open
I have the opportunity to put either a 128MB PC100 or a 64MB PC133 into bank 2, what would be the better choice since the 64MB is faster than the 128MB?

hmmm........maybe i'll do dat and create a VINV record thread.......ill copy ur format and add a bunch of new records .....the only thing is i'm not as good with words as you are so my comments would pale in comparison to yours ......but well if there's a way sum1 else can edit my post so dat we could co-manage the thread then i would be very glad........btw i still need suggestions for the new VINV records.......im thinking of a top 10 high score chart similar to the one in regular invasion.....
I'd help if I was on here more than once a week and if I was clever (i almost put cleaver).
If you do intend to share the editing I suggest make a new name and password and share that with your editor. That way if there's a falling out the editor wont be posting bad thoughts a-la TIMMY.
If there were a VINV record thread maybe there would be more interest in VINV maps. The more records the better.

...dat means mantas and raptors only have one kill record since they're 1-seater regardless of alt-fire.
Are you suggesting the manta and raptor score should be one as in:
Most kills with manta/raptor: 200 - Timmy ?
I think they should be separate.
Also, I don't know how the scoring goes in vehicles.
If I was driving the Hellbender & I run over a bug do I get the kill AND the person in seat 2 get the kill? and if the person in seat 2 kills somthing do we both get the kill added? I think it only goes to the person who killed it.
I think no mater what seat you're in in the Hellbender, thats the seat you chose to try to get the top score.
On DC I believe there is no way in showing what seat you were in when the kill was made therefore it will have to all go under Most kills with Hellbender: 200 - Timmy

*320, you have Timmy at 304 kills with a vehicle and it should be 296 unless you're adding all vehicles together then it's 302 (296+6=302)
Most kills with Vehicles: 304 - Timmy(70)
Description - The highest total of any combinaton of vehicle kills in a VINV map.
Date Broken - 7/26/06

"Froed" - When the leader of the game for several waves (1-5, or later), is passed by another player, particularly one that came in relatively late in the game (most accurately applied when the score differential between former leader and new leader is 100+ points within a wave), he/she has been "Froed". Named after the player (Fro) most likely to pull off the maneuver.
I have seen fodder figure di this more times than I can count. Although irritating, it is still funny.

Also, re: pictures, don't forget www.imageshak.us
They will convert the bmp to jpg for you and there's no site registration or any other hassle involved.
I'd suggest converting it BEFORE you upload it. Uploading a 609kb file will go a lot faster than uploading a 2305kb file. ( I got these numbers from rockgoddeses image)

Watch that and remind yourself it is all in real-time. That should give you a basis to estimate what you will need to run UT2007.
Dumb question? I watched the video and everything played great, should I assume my machine will handle UT2007?

I like the dates you put in in the first part of your first post, that lets me know when the were added. I would like to see dates in the later part too.

new or updated, doesn't really matter, keep downloading them over and over because "They're good packs".
I don't subscribe to that way of thinking. <---( yeah, I can get grumpy sometimes. I'm too old to put up with such flippant statements)
If I see the word updated it means to me that they are updated. A simple date is all I ask, as in:
Ultimate Community Map Pack 2 updated (or added) 5/9/06
Platform Neutral - UCMP-Volume2.zip 246MB
Flag Pack updated (or added) 3/19/06
Platform Neutral - flagpack2004.zip 80MB
UT Classics Map Pack updated (or added) 2/11/06
Platform Neutral - UT_Classics.zip 50MB
I see I only have to download Ultimate Community Map Pack 2 because it was updated today and the others I know I already downloaded when they were added months ago. I honestly don't remember what I've downloaded in the past and the date will help me see what is new. If Cazius, in his first post, adds UT Classics Map Pack 2, and just writes NEW MAPS ADDED, other than having a photographic memory, I won't know which I added and when it was added.
If I decide not to read the forums for a month, but play the game everyday for two weeks, i'm bound to automaticly download the new maps through the game. At the end of the month I come back to the forums and read a new map is added, naturally I'll download it because I have no idea if it was added in the two weeks I played or if it was added in the two weeks I didn't play. A simple date can be very helpfull in this situation.

I misspoke. I asked him if he was a LA player and he said "yes". After your comment I checked his player stats and he is indeed a LW player. ops:
