Maybe you guys should make a new forum. I mean this is "what's yer location", not Sports Talk
Double-clicking .umod's is how they work.
I'm gonna try to find this at B&N today.
I have a friend that is the Master of useless info...

she'll get a kick out of it (and her bday was sunday!)

I didn't know we were including places we'd lived.

Here's my little list....

Delaware
Arkansas
Missouri
North Carolina
California
agreed.

How bored were you to find that and read it?

Is it too complicated or just way too geeky?

I'd really like to have more info on the maps, but I guess DC doesn't keep stats anymore on all that stuff.

I enjoy doing this stuff. It's what I do for a living, but it's alot more data that I use

I understand it all, its just that what was needed to be said about has more or less already been explained by you on the first post.
I would however agree with you on the most played maps. The top 20 or so maps are starting to be chosen all the time, so it would be quite nice if, say, the top 10 or so maps couldn't be voted on for a while so the others could catch up.

I also think we have too many onslaught maps. I don't really have a problem with them, its just that they can take so much longer then other maps to download and most of the maps have only been played between 5 and 10 times. I could also say the same for assault maps, but they offer something a little more interesting then just randomly seeking and destroying as you have targets. I feel that we could get rid of a few of the unofficial onslaught maps and no one would miss them. I quite like playing vehicle invasion, but i don't like having to download a huge map for which i will probably only play once, if that. I would prefer to just have the official Epic onslaught maps.. personally.

I'd rather have ONS maps than AS maps. AS maps really suck for adrenaline junkies.... can't see your adrenaline!

Perhaps a solution is to change the sequence order? I mean... if you look, the maps that get picked most are those in the window when the Map Voting window first comes up. Be nice to try anyway.

Maybe, Ive been on a few for the kane model for like 2 months now so I'm taking my time on them. I'm willing to try any idea for a skin though.

How about an Arnold skin as the termintor for biceps1. I have found a few but none works well!?!?!

der grosse beceeps regairt de veldt!

Would be nice to see an original version of the Terminator, not the robot part (unless it's just half his face) or the metallic one... but the original from Terminator.

ya know Cont, you could just take the Brock model and make the biceps about 5 times the size they are and you'd have a Lonnie look-a-like =)

or maybe just a model with wheels as biceps....?

Hehe, as u can see, i live in WI (Green Bay) and one of my brothers friends actually might race at the same places as u! This would be really creepy if it ended up to be where we know each other. lol

Just print the avatar picture and go asking around for CPLMAC

I'm sure it'll be exciting

We can, but it doesn't seem worth the lag.

yah I know.
I'm trying to figure out other stuff. Like maybe working with Eyesore on the Top List and maybe we can track which gets record(s) get broken the most

It's just fun =)

New maps added today

Download links for these and all subsequent maps can be found on the Map Info page: http://www.disastrousconsequences.com/dc/maps.jsp

NOTE: If these maps are not yet listed on the Map Info page, it is because the server has not yet incorporated them into its rotation. They will become available on the next server restart/crash.

Thank you so much for adding more maps Shanty!
Once again, the work that you and Dru put into this community is just outstanding.
Keep up the good work and remember there's alot of us that are more than happy to accept some delegation of some of the work =)

Done and signed.

I couldn't agree more.
I'm really suprised to find that there's no more comments than that. Hehe...

Oh yah
also broke down the most voted on Deathmatch Maps.
(only showing 100 votes or more)

Shouldn't let these be voted on anymore until the others catch up some =)
Here's some info I made (it's what I do)
If you want/need more info on how to read these, let me know.

Basically this data shows 81% of the maps can be downloaded or retrieved from one of the following;
1)Epic Games
2)MapRaider Downloads
3)Community Bonus Pack 2 (CBP2)
4)Community Bonus Pack 1 (CBP1)
5) Ulitmate Community Map Pack (UCMP)

This is just showing the number of each kind of map that is in DC's server map list.

This chart is showing the total number of votes per each map type. Each map type column is actually broken down into the map names, but because of the number you are dealing with, it's not worthwhile to show the legend =)

As you can see... we vote on Deathmatch maps more than any other. WAY more....

More useless info to come....

I do miss being able to find creative spots to snipe from.

Sniping is an art form. =)

Just keep the monsters in visual range and you'll be ok

I do, but it still counts me down. I mean, even on FaceClassic, I can be in totally visual spot, but I guess because it's not a point the monsters can go do, it wants to kick me? Just my guess on that part anyway.
