you need to download DruidsRPG from the downloadpage found here:
http://disastrousconsequences.com/dc/download.jsp
and after that either replace your .ini file with the one included in the above download, or manually adjust your ini file to contain all the config lines from druidsrpg.

yes, in endless values ofcourse it is. because then the monster level doesnt scale enough with players. but on servers like DC it scales just fine, and doesnt proof to be a problem?
its a hard to properly fix isue anyway, without making tons of wild code i suppose.

wel did you try turning off motionblur and teraindistanceblur(or whatever this one is called.)
those options are not configurable ingame, but when turned off apear to increase framerate by quite a bit. not only did i read this, i also did these changes.
running 1280x1024 with textures on 3, world detail says 1 ingame, but think thats because it doesnt recognize it properly(game doesnt support manual? ) fps is ~20-30 in warfare and vctf iirc, and easily 30+ in deathmatch. might be off a bit, also depends on map and players ofcourse.
game looks bit like ut2k4 without the blurs, but then with higher mesh details and textures.
btw.. think i know why your ini dindt work, did you put it on read-only? this apears to be importand or else somehow it reverts its settings. :/

not sure if thats really a problem with the original rpg?? since its just afaik hardcoded in the iirc mutut2004rpg.uc class file itself? might be wrong though.

afaik, it is actually running on DC. wich i personaly dislike because it doesnt really add anything other then an extra download. afterall, you dont look at how good the monsters look, instead you frag them as fast you can.
thats just my opinion.

congratz with the 4th class in your RPG druid. hopefully some more really nice classes will eventually follow the others.

do you have it in ut2004rpg.ini and not in a different .ini file ?

its just the normal shield that does not stack, super shield or shield gained from booster. or mostly any other way of gaining shield does stack.
but yeh, most people consider it quite a useless ability. and i cant agree less.
usually i buy it only when needed for other abilities, else it's quite low on my priority list.

i've seen somebody on my forums with nearly same error about a year ago.
the problems were solved when i took out the radar bit, and he could connect fine again.
but he also tried a lot, reínstalling the game, noticed being able to spectate. and several other things i dont remember. (hey it's a year ago.. what can you expect. ) (and yes, he played on my server a decent amount of time before. so it wasnt his first time trying to join either.
though i'd just share this, maybe its of some use that bigdavet is not the first.

did you hosted it in dedicated mode and then joined ?
or as a listen, or even as offline skirmish ?
if your hosting it as dedicated/listen, are they in your serverpackages list ?
incase of dedicated you notice this yourself to, if its listen then you wont, but others will.
incase of a instant action game.. no clue..

i know that makes the mini trigger a lot more often, atleast.. the calculation makes it look like that.
i havent seen the mini trigger once a second on avarage, did seen it trigger twice a second once a while, but avarage.. nope.. not once a second. and there are more monsters when i play.
neither did i ever hear people say that they like vorpal that much at all, in the contrary, most people rether have a different magic weapon then vorpal.
incl. myself, however on DC vorpal indeed is a lot more popular, and i find it better on DC aswel then in my RPG.
maybe it is because here it also does more damage, and mine doesnt.
and ever seen a vorpal flak +4, how often that triggers, it doesnt calculate per shot, but per projectile.
however, if you put vorpal on every weapon, a perfect balance just isnt possible.
so sometimes you just have to accept some weapons trigger more then others..

i know, the +damage makes the vorpal a bit to.. powerfull on most weapon.
that why i changed it to only have the gib chance. making it balanced afterall. ^^
