I'm 21. 22 in September, a.k.a. "The Christmas In September" to quote Gabe from PA.

My$tic acts...younger than his age.
Hehehe....Ahhhhahahaha

*cough*

Things that are on your hard drive do not have a URL. You'd have to upload the image to some webspace or somesuch, and then it would have a URL that you could use.
So... you spent more than $100 dollars on a tube that makes noises?

I picked up the wallpaper from deviantart.com. Click on image for a bigger picture:
Has anyone else here bought the recently released Guild Wars? I just got it today, and I must say it is a very fine game. But, I have one problem. It's incredibly boring without other people to play with. I don't like taking my chances playing new games with pubbies.

If anyone else has the game, perhaps you'd like to join forces with a low level Monk?

Is there a difference between the two? Looks like the exact same thing to me.

I guess it's like drinking milk with either a regular straw or a wookie straw. Some people will say that the milk will taste better when they drink from a wookie straw.

Quite a few of you seem to have microphones, so I was wondering if you've ever considered setting up a TeamSpeak server?
If there's a problem with hosting it, I'll do it. =)
For those of you that don't know what TeamSpeak is, click the link.

...WHY? The server already HAS voicechat.

"Don't be a jerk" is probably what that code would be, should it ever be written.

Cham, I have that same problem on my UT from time to time. I usually just reboot my UT and it runs perfectly fine. 10/1 its not your video card (Just to let you know). I had that problem when i first got my video card (while i had a intergrated intel video card) And i got that same screen. Even after i changed my video card to a geforce2 fx ( i know im cheap lol) I still get the same problem. Just throwing my 2 cents in there. Feel free to throw them back

And I've gotten the same problems, and it WAS because my video card was overheating. By overclocking yes I am guilty, but I think he could UNDERclock to see if it helps out. Because underclocking would lesses the heat... which would tell if the heatsink/fan/card should be replaced.

hmmm maybe someone should display this type of general information and faq's in a public, hard-to-miss spot so we didnt get asked this question over and over.

hmmm maybe someone already put all the FAQs and stuff on the site. One merely has to click a couple times in the right sopts. No matter how obvious a place you put the FAQ in, a good portion of people will miss it. This has been proven many many many many a time during the age of Man.

Nazer: I'll give you a quick rundown.

To level up, you need expierience points (XP). To get XP, all you need to do is damage a monster. You don't need to kill any. When you level up, you will get a message on your screen saying so. On this server, unless they changed it, you start out as a Level 5 character. For every level you gain, you get 7 stat points. You can use these stat points to increase your weapon speed, damage, max ammo, etc.

You can also buy abilities, like the one you mentioned. But in order to purchase an ability, you need to first meet the prerequisits (requirements). In order to get the first level of Loaded Weapons, for example, you need to have the ability Resupply. To get resupply unless my memory fails me, you need to put 50 stat points in to Max Ammo. After meeting the prereqs of an ability, you will finally be given the option to purchase the ability with stat points. The amount an ability differs from ability to ability, depending on how powerful it is. For example, the firt level of Loaded Weapons costs 10 stat points. That is a pretty low cost, as far as abilities go.

The first stuff it is recommended you put points in to is Health Bonus and one level of the Regen ability. You must remember that there is no "right" place to put your stat points. The best players will put their stat points in to whatever abilities and stats that suits their playing style the best. Aggresive players (people who are gung-ho) will put points in to aggresive abilities and stats first (weapon speed, damage bonus, vampirism) cautious players (people who go "eeeeeeeee" when they see a monster and then run away) tend to go for stuff that will keep the from the spectre of death as long as possible (damage Reduction, Health Bonus, Regen) when they first start.

Can you release a bit more details besides coming soon? Like, expected features, new bugs, etc?

How about that?

Awesome. I particularly like #3.
I'd prefer it if the Shok maps never came back to the server.

As said they are too big. Big is bad for many reasons- more pressure on network resources, and more pressure on graphics resources. It really sucks to have have your framerate cut in half whenever you decide to look away from a wall in any of the Shok maps.

The reason why it is a pressure on the Network is that because there are less walls and more open spaces, so the players and monsters non-hitscan weapons fire will last much longer than usual. This means the server has to do calculations longer, and it's just that much more information that gets shoved down everyone's pipes.

nuklearpower.com is a must.

Interestingly enough, I avoid every single thing you mentioned.
I like to acually laugh at a comic because it is funny, so I read Penny-Arcade..... and VG cats.
