i will be klok718.... i was kingdoc in ut2004. wich i may keep playing as there is no druid server or a good sniper server yet.

Not even close. Redeemer is a weapon. It has more power then other weapons but it has only 1 shot and can be denied (shot down). You need some skills to use it properly - guided or unguided.

Ultima is a RPG skill that requires a long time to acquire and you need to DIE so it would go off. Dying isn't exactly free kill.  


turrets are also weapons, have less power than a deemer and can be destroyed. you need some skill to get the required adrenalin to use it and more still to place it in a good spot.

When you use ultima you "are not there" eather so i thought it related to your quote.

wouldent that make an unguided deemer and ultima a free kill too?
you know what... making a turret may not be so hard after all. perhaps you could change monster skins to somthing turret looking and reduce there rate of movement to zero or as close to it as you can get (like .000001 of normal).

if thats the case why gain XP from pets? or even mines? you should gain XP from turrets but at a reduced rate, say 1/2 of the normal rate.

as far as deploying on cars in onslaut, why not? A turret should deploy on any surface that it lands on.

I could see the turret stacking as being a problem but 1. How is that different from stacking mines and 2. If a proper balance of turret health/ damage is found a well placed titan rock could wipe out 2 or 3 turrets in one throw. dru's anti-camper already makes camping/hiding a non-issue. So long as monsters see turrets as other players and attack them they are just as fair game as any monster pet is now.

Perhaps some other ideas should come into the fray? Any other ideas for turrets out there? Perhaps they should only be castable with 101 adrenalin and a random chance of the weapon on them?

Maybe they should only have the sniper rifle on them with and the amount of adrenalin determaming the health/damage? (EX: a turret cast with 33 adrenalin would only have 1/3 the health of a turret cast w/ 100 adrenalin?)

i posted my 2 cents there as well. The idea of pets is cool but the function is kinda ... not good.

replace pets with turrets, the more XP the more powerful.

EX: 25 adrenilen = double assult rifle
25-50 single shock
50-75 single flak
75-100 double shock
100-125 double mini
125+ double flak.

there small so you can jump over them, have hitpoints like a monster and DO NOT MOVE!! of course this may require too much codeing so meh.
I just was on this map for the first time. i went into a cabin via a door. the door closed behind me and would not open. becouse no monsters could get me i was out of bounds and the countdown started..... then ran out!!

If possable remove the doors or the map itself. for a well intentioned player that is just expoleing this could be a trap and if no more warnings are given well then..... bad things happen.

p.s. could i have my warning back?.... and mabye some stat points
it is the next skill i want after resuply. would you say the boom is bigger or smaller than a deemer?
