That's like saying characters with Advanced DB have an unfair advantage at killing enemies.
No, because there are class-specific skills which help create balance.....such as Leech....which combined with the triple makes it fairly easy for AM players to wipe out enemies quickly.
I think Dru has tweaked the balance issues enough so that there are not huge advantages/disadvantages to any one class.

The AM class has that already. It's called Leech.
Quite honestly, it should be kept that way.
IMO, granting all classes adrenaline based on damage would greatly unbalance the classes.
Not to mention, with the addition of the Advanced Damage Bonus skill for LW players, they would have a particularly unfair advantage.

Not a whole lot of anything good on TV anymore.
The only show I have to watch religiously is CSI Las Vegas. It's the original and the best.
Other than that, if you have the A&E channel, Intervention is an interesting (if sometimes depressing) docu-look at the lives of addicts. It's on Sunday nites around 9:00 CST.
I catch Simpsons reruns when I can even tho' I've seen em all 10x's already. That show and All in the Family are the two best sit-coms ever created.
Oh, and Robot Chicken on Adult Swim is pretty funny.

Alright, I went one for three in my three leagues last week. It's time for redemption in week 2.
Most of the fantasy studs didn't do so hot in week one. Alexander, C. Johnson, Larry Johnson....but that was just week one. Hopefully they all get on track this week.
Good luck to all....'cept for Fro....

Steve Irwin, the snake-wrangling Aussie wildlife enthusiast died today after his heart was pierced by a stingray's poisonous barb.
He was working on a shoot in the Barrier Reef at the time. Some may have thought he was funny and entertaining, and some may have thought he was annoying. He was over the top, but I enjoyed his energy and was often amazed at his ability to remain calm in many extremely dangerous situations.
He leaves behind a wife and two small children.

For players above level 40, how do you feel about this change?
I've played several maps now on the new diff lvl. IMO, winning the match is greatly dependent upon the map being played. Won a couple matches with only 5 or 6 people on, with me being the highest lvl player (85).
Some maps lend themselves to helping the players and some don't (just as those same maps did pre-change). It seems to me, however, that the difficulty of the map itself is now magnified significantly post-adjustment. Particularly waves 11,12,13. Splash damage from enemy rockets on tight maps, for instance, is pretty rough. Also, it's tougher to get out of a tight spot with how the monsters are spawning.
By contrast, some of the skaarj dodging skills are nullified by tighter maps. Titan waves are about the same.....big, slow hunks of meat to mow down. :> I really haven't noticed much, if any, decline in the overall scores of the higher level players either.
FWIW, I happen to like the new diff lvl. It used to be pretty commonplace to win a match if there were at least one or two higher lvl players on. Not to mention that it is refreshing to have to change my tactics as well as rethink what I will spend skill points on next.
Oh, and low lvl players are definitely having a harder time staying alive.

Also voted for 120.
I've only played a couple matches since the change, though. I will reserve final judgement until I see how everyone's revised tacticts affect the average number of times a match is completed as compared to before the change.

Thanks for all the nice comments.
To answer one question, no I honestly don't have a preference of a boy or a girl. Although, it'd be tougher for me to watch "daddy's little girl" go out on dates, etc. I just want a healthy, happy baby.
As for names, we have thought of a couple for each....
Girl names: Arianna, Lily, Alexandra, Lauren
Boy names: Layne, Troy, Ian, Jacob (no, not like Jakob)
We bounce names off each other regularly, and get rid of the ones we both absolutely don't like.
I will most definitely post pics when available and let ya all know if we decide on a boy and girl name.
Again, thanks for the warm wishes. I've been smiling from ear to ear for the last few days.

Just found out this week that my wife and I are expecting our first little one.
We've been trying for quite a while now, so I just told myself not to think about it too much. Then this week, the day before my wife's birthday, we found out she was pregnant. Talk about a spectacular birthday surprise!
I'm out of my mind excited...........and a wee bit nervous.
Not sure if it has completely sunk in yet, but I can't wait to be a dad.
It's also our five year anniversary next month, so the timing seems altogether magical.
Anyhow, here's to nine months of up's and down's, with a happy ending of a healthy baby!

Playing my LA char just now on Sympathy map, and accidentally tossed my tripple. (I have Loaded Art. lvl 2) Someone then "pinched me tripple", but that's not the problem. After a bit, a monster I killed dropped one, but....I couldn't pick it up. I ran over it a few times and nothin.
Played another wave or two, and same story. Whenever another tripple dropped I couldn't pick it up.
That really stunk. The tripple is my bread 'n butter.
Don't know if this problem affects all artifacts or not.
Any ideas as to why this happened? And if this is a recent intended change in the code, let me be the first to say, it ain't a good thing.

I'd be interested. I've been playing for about 10 years now, and it is a lot of fun.
I'm in two pay leagues every year and usually one "just for fun" league.
If you can post the scoring, rules and come up with a draft date, I'm in.
Oh, and being from Minnesota, I bleed purple......unfortunately my team never lets the wound heal.
