I know there is a monster mod that allows you to change monster attributes. they can always lower the hit points or the damage for the extra powerful types.

you know what would be really cool is to have a final wave 17 where everyone gets to kill each other off. hehe.
whats that onslaught map that is really small? it forms sort of a figure 8 and its set in a green foresty area. the center of the figure 8 was a node that everyone tried to control. is that Primeval? i cant ever remember that one. but i think it would be good to play.
are we still voting on these maps?

it be nice to see a Homer voicepack. I do see some Homer's running around. It be cool to here a distant "Doh'" when he dies.
I don't want to suggest mods that you guys already have. and i couldnt find a list of mods that you guys use on the home page.

this mod might actually fit well with my suggestion about adding different types of monsters. if only you can change their colors though.
I think this is a neat mod just to add since it doesn't take away from gameplay.

it basically shows the leader on points to be on fire.

I notice that with the titans that there are two types. and lots of different skaarj and nali's. but i also notice we have only one type of warlord, mosquitos, green bugs, and flying fireball shooters (except for the big, big fireball shooter). so i'm wondering if this mod would be good.

it has the same monsters but they are colored to show that they are either more powerful or whatever. i think that instagib thing should not be in there, though. I notice that they may have monsters that do ice damage and etc. I think that added a few of these monsters, not meaning to have them as a majority during a wave, would be good to mix it up a bit. like on wave 12, instead of seeing a whole bunch of warlords, it would be nice to see maybe 1 or 2 boss warlords among the group. Of course its up to the admin to balance the monsters they way he/she chooses. same with wave 8, and seeing the same queens. more variety is always good.

my point is that it is nice to have alot of different monsters. and please dont mix that up with having alot more on the map. like all the different nali's, it makes me change my strategy depending on what kind is chasing me. you all can vote on this if you like.

or maybe add this mod too? not sure if you have it already. it says it adds U4E monsters to the game.

Couldn't you guys just add the map anyways? I mean, everyone votes for the next map to be played anyways so it doesn't really matter if everyone likes it or not because only the more popular maps are being played anyways. I notice the same maps are being cycled through each time. Therefore I never get to play any of the other maps.

Why not have the server have us play a random map after each cycle or something. Or have map voting disabled during certain hours of the day. Maybe raise the cycle to 100 maps instead of 50. UT2004maps.com has a lot of interesting maps but it doesn't look like we'll ever play them because of the voting thing going on.

I think the regular invasion selection should be deleted also.

These maps are all remakes from the classic UT. Like spacenoxx, the crane, lava giant, eternal caves, and fractal which is a lot like gael.

i would imagine that they would just switch to 07 only. having two servers would be really expensive.

plus i'm sure 07 would be much better anyways. my only concern is the transferring of character stats. I wouldnt think it would be hard to do it anyways. although if it has to be done manually, then that would be alot of people to change.
i notice also that the null entropy minigun didnt do squat. but when i have a flack entopy and hit myself i pretty stop all the time. i had a bio entropy and the only time i saw it null anything is if it survived a full blast from mouse button 2. and when it happens it actually says on the screen "null entropy". but i've seen it only happen twice so far. i'm thinking that the null attribute is set on a percentage that is way too low.
I searched the forums but couldn't find anything. But my question is, when UT2007 comes out next year, will you guys be upgrading to that once the RPG mod for UT2007 comes out?

Also, if that happens, would our characters be transferred from UT2004 to UT2007?

As far as I can tell, Invasion will still be in UT2007, and if not, I'm sure a mod for that would be out soon after.
Here's a suggestion. not sure if its been suggested or not.

How about quests....

Like in the beginning of the map it will display a quest. I.E. Kill 4 rabbits, find 5 artifacts, use a triple damage with the unreal damage, kill 30 creatures with shock combo only, get a monster kill combo, score 100+ points in a single wave, etc.

and when each quest is complete you get xp for it. like maybe just 100 or so depending on the difficulty. when a quest is complete then you get a new quest throughout the map, or each quest is done on 1 quest per wave. I think this would expand the goal for doing things out of the ordinary for extra xp, which you are not forced to do anyways. it can be displayed in the corner like during assault maps.
How about a simple letter and + or - number above the weapon HUD so I don't have to scroll through each weapon I have to find out which one is the best. like F+3 above a link gun which means its a Freezing Ling Gun +3 so I don't have to select it to see what it is. This is cuz I have the loaded weapons skill.
