I'm on internship now, and I thought that "only" working 40 hours a week (as opposed to most of graduate school being 50+) at one job would be easier and free up more time. Hasn't happened yet, but I'm still hopeful.

Right now I'm collecting data for my dissertation, so once that's done I'm hoping I'll have a lot more time.

I'll try to pop in soon.

To be fair, we don't actually own GH3, but I've seen it at parties. I like Rock Band a lot better because it seems a lot more interactive. People will just walk by if they see somebody playing GH3, but everybody wants to watch and cheer people on in RB.

RB has a greater variety of songs, it's more fun to design a character, and it has more instruments. I agree with Cham- it's like GH, only more fun.

For those who sent me a PM that I haven't written back to yet, I promise I read it and I'm getting back on top of things. It'll just take a few days for my brain to recover.

In skimming your post, I have a few thoughts.

First, changing the names of various types has been suggested before. You can check the other posts for why it will not happen here. In general, we are not trying to be like every other RPG game out there. Our developers have a lot of unique ideas, which I find refreshing. Also, the names are easier to understand the way they are, for example, "knockback" is pretty self-explanatory, whereas "wind" is not.

Second, keep in mind that we try to maintain a balance between all of the classes. Therefore, ideas that will make one class significantly better than another will not be well received.

Third, it would be significantly more helpful to have each separate idea as a separate post. This makes it easier to comment on each idea individually and makes it easier for everyone to read what they are interested in and sort through the rest. You are also more likely to get some of the developers interested in coding your ideas this way, unless you were volunteering to do it yourself.

Please check to see if what you are posting about (particularly bugs, negative stat points, etc.) has already been discussed in this forum. This will save a great deal of time and energy, and will also make it easier for everyone to find the topics they are looking for without sorting through extra stuff.

If you have suggestions or ideas for improvement, please post each idea as a separate post and use a title that adequately describes your idea. This will make it easier for everyone to sort through the information, and also make it more likely that a developer will see your idea.

Ultimately, I think several of you are missing what I view as the central point of this server: to have fun. Yes, not allowing piercing and triple will decrease LA scores (although I doubt if even that will be significant). Yes, the LAs higher up on the chart have already benefitted from that.

The question to ask yourselves is this, does this change make the game significantly less fun to play?
